- Under the influence of alcohol or prescription medicine that influence the brain
- Brain tumours or multiple sclerosis
- Unstable angina pectoris
- Severe aortic stenosis
- Implant or heart pacemakers
- Pregnant (even though it has been reported not to be harmful during pregnancy
- Recent stroke (<12 months)
- Lupus erythematous and on steroid
- Recent myocardial infracxton (< 12 months)
- Allergic to wood or sentitive to sunlight
